This year throughout Advent, which begins November 28th, we will be reading the opening chapter from Luke’s gospel. We will focus upon the traditional themes of Advent being hope, peace, joy and love and we will also pay attention to the smells, taste, touch, and sounds of the season. We will be celebrating Communion on Sunday, December 5 at 10:30 am.
In remembering our call to be disciples of Christ, we are collecting hats, scarfs, and mittens for those in need. We will also be collecting money to help both the Salvation Army and the Essex Food Bank provide Christmas turkeys. These collections will be taken until December 5th. Please bring your donations with you to worship or drop them off at the Church Monday to Thursday, 9 until 11:30.
