Sunday, December 12: Advent III ~ Joy
Holy One, as the days grow shorter and the nights lengthen,
be our inner light, we pray. Keep glowing in our hearts—
so that what we think and say and do comes from a place of calm and compassion.
When so much distracts and disturbs, anchor us in your deep love.
Remind us that even while we live in this world, you are our everlasting home.
Bless our gathering together, that our minds may be calm and alert
and our hearts open to your grace.
Juanita Austin, Salmon Arm, B.C.

Thank You
The Outreach/FEUC committee would like to thank the congregation for their generous contributions to the Christmas projects. We were able to deliver a great selection of cold weather accessories to the Salvation Army. The funds raised from the ‘turkey drive’ were distributed to the Essex Food Bank and Salvation Army to help offset the costs of their Christmas food hampers.
